What are the special features of the International Business trilingual curriculum, the original curriculum of the Grande Ecole program?
It provides you with solid skills in international business management and administration, to prepare you for international careers.
This course focuses on what makes ESCE so unique and strong: preparation for international business management at technical, intercultural and managerial levels. At the heart of our pedagogical approach is theteaching of foreign languages and cultural courses.

The program takes place over five years, between the two capitals.
1st year
The 1st year provides students with fundamental knowledge of international business (management, law, economics, finance, marketing, geopolitics, etc.). Depending on the course chosen by the student, he or she can, from the end of the first year :
- Professionalize your teaching through an internship.
- Summer school at HWR Berlin.
- Do a summer school in another geographical area.
2nd year :
Mastering the binational dimension
The 2nd year brings together French and German students in a small group of up to 26 students. All will deepen their import-export knowledge through innovative and dynamic teaching methods: Mission Internationale, Negotiation Champion League, Franco-German Management, Doing Business In …
This year is also an opportunity for French students to prepare for and take the WIDAF exam to validate written and oral skills in the German language WiDaF® Written & Oral Comprehension (francoallemand.com)
3rd year :
become more professional
- 1st semester: professionalization semester with six-month internship in a German-speaking country.
- 2nd semester: academic semester with a final semester of study at HWR Berlin before obtaining the BACHELOR in International Management / International Management.
4th and 5th year :
specialize
The 4th year is a year of specialization, with a choice of all the specializations and options offered by HWR Berlin.
The 5th year is a year of expertise:
- The 1st semester is a semester of study at ESCE Paris
- The 2nd semester can be chosen by the student :
- A semester of professionalization, with a six-month internship in the country of the student’s choice (including non-German-speaking countries) and the writing of a Master’s thesis in English at ESCE, evaluated by a jury of professors from both institutions.
- An academic semester at the HWR in Berlin, with a final thesis written in English.
