Indeed, a Master 1 is equivalent to a level of study Bac + 4. This is why you naturally need a bachelor’s degree + 3 years to be able to move to the next level. This is the first year of a 2-year Master’s program. At the end of these, you normally obtain a master’s degree equivalent to a bachelor’s degree.
