You can enroll in ESCE’s Grande École Program directly in the 3rd or 4th year through a specific admissions process. Application rounds are held throughout the year, from November to September, so you can apply at the time that works best for you.

To be eligible, you must provide proof of:

  • 120 ECTS credits for admission to the third year
  • 180 ECTS credits for admission to the 4th year

The application fee is 70 €.

Once your application has been approved, you will be invited to take the admission exams, which are designed to assess your potential, your academic level, and your motivation to join ESCE.

Admission is based on written exams taken remotely, followed by a motivational interview.

  • An aptitude test (1 hour) consisting of questions on math, logical reasoning, writing, and international current events.
  • An English test (1 hour) that assesses reading comprehension, listening comprehension, grammar, and vocabulary.

The interview is conducted in French for applicants seeking admission to the 3rd year, and in French and English for applicants seeking admission to the 4th year.

PREPARE YOUR WRITTEN WORK ONLINE

Practice regularly to test yourself on similar exercises. The goal is to simulate exam conditions as closely as possible so you can learn to manage your time.

To help you prepare:

PREPARE FOR YOUR IN-PERSON ORAL EXAM

The interview is an opportunity to interact with the admissions committee. It lasts 30 minutes, with no preparation time. Part of the interview is conducted in English for students wishing to join us in their fourth year.

STEP 1: DISCOVER YOUR PERSONALITY AND MOTIVATION

You will introduce yourself by explaining your background and your reasons for wanting to pursue your studies at ESCE. The admissions committee will evaluate how well your application aligns with the various programs offered at ESCE.

STEP 2: ASSESS YOUR ANALYTICAL SKILLS AND YOUR INTEREST IN INTERNATIONAL CURRENT EVENTS

You will present, in a structured and well-reasoned manner, an international current events topic of your choice, which you will have prepared in advance of your oral exam.

To help you prepare for your oral exam:

Mock interviews, during our open house events or by appointment

What is the difference between admission based on academic qualifications and a separate entrance exam?
