ESCE’s Master in Management, a 5-year program leading to a master’s degree, offers you an excellent education with an international focus. Starting in your second year, you can study abroad at top destinations such as Europe, China, or the United States.

With our two campuses in Lyon and Paris, you’ll benefit from an environment tailored to your aspirations. Starting in your third year, you also have the option to enroll in a work-study program to combine your studies with professional experience.

In your fourth year, choose from 11 master’s specializations to tailor your academic path and develop expertise that aligns with your ambitions.

To be eligible for the second year of the Master in Management, you must submit an application package that includes the following:

  • A copy of your ID
  • A copy of your high school diploma (if applicable) or other equivalent diplomas
  • A copy of your transcripts from the past two years
  • An up-to-date resume
  • A cover letter outlining your ambitions and your interest in ESCE

The interview takes place before a panel consisting of a panel chair, a professor, or a member of the ESCE administration.

Conducted in French, it is designed to assess your motivation to enroll at ESCE at its Paris or Lyon campus.

Objectives of the interview:

  • Identify your reasons for applying to the school
  • Discover your personality, your experiences, your tastes, and your aspirations
  • Ensure that your career plans, your ambitions, and ESCE’s values are aligned
  • Discuss current international events to assess your openness to the world

How to Prepare for Your Admission Interview:

1. Find out more about the school

Show your interest in ESCE by learning more about:

  • Specializations offered starting in the third year
  • Training Programs
  • Student Organizations

2. Write a compelling introduction

Introduce yourself formally by explaining:

  • Why do you want to enroll at ESCE?
    Focus the discussion on your experiences or projects that reflect your ambitions.
  • Who you are and your academic background

3. Highlight your extracurricular activities and interests

Talk about your hobbies, personal projects, or volunteer work. These examples demonstrate your ability to take initiative and get involved.

4. Stay up to date on current events

Be prepared to discuss current events, including international, economic, social, and political topics. This will demonstrate your curiosity and your openness to the world.

5. Pay Attention to Your Nonverbal Communication

  • Maintain eye contact
  • Maintain an upright and professional posture
  • Smile and project confidence
  • Wear professional attire appropriate for the interview

To be admitted to the second year of the Grande École Program, you must meet one of the following criteria:

  • High school diploma and 60 ECTS credits earned in the first year of college
  • Hold a foreign diploma equivalent to the baccalaureate
