Franco-German Programme
The Franco-German Programme, jointly administered by Ecole Supérieure du Commerce Extérieur (ESCE - Paris) and the Fachhochschule für Wirtschaft Berlin (FHW Berlin), is an integrated Franco-German curriculum with a resolutely international focus.
Designed for German-speaking students of ESCE and for French-speaking students of FHW Berlin, this joint course of study with one of our long-standing German partners is the result of our commitment to offering our students a mutually managed curriculum that is truly bi-national and to fostering an incomparable cultural experience that stands out from existing double degree offerings and traditional exchange programmes.
Each institution is charged with following a set of jointly established criteria to recruit 12 students who, once selected, will be officially registered in the Franco-German curriculum and, beginning in their second year of study, integrated into a bi-cultural group composed of 12 students from Berlin and 12 students from Paris. This group will stay together until the end of the programme and will move between the two capital cities, based on the details worked out between the two universities, so that students can obtain the ESCE diploma and the Diplomkaufmann/Diplomkauffrau diploma from FHW Berlin.
The objective is to transform graduates of the Franco-German programme into veritable engines for European integration thanks to their unique qualities, which are highly sought out in the European employment market:
- In-depth knowledge of French and German culture in all areas of daily life (studies, work, leisure, etc.)
- Proven set of international, linguistic and inter-cultural skills, combined with a very solid foundation in management and international trade
- Professional experience acquired through eight to 14 months of internships at businesses
- Two official diplomas recognised within the European Union
