Enroll at ESCE as first year student: SESAME national exam

SESAME: Series of Written Examinations Shared by Seven International Business Schools

The candidate sits a single series of written exams to determine admissibility to one or several schools belonging to the SESAME programme.

The examinations are open to all students in their final year of secondary school or recipients of a baccalaureate: the written exams are designed to be accessible for any student at the baccalaureate level, regardless of the version completed.

Candidates admitted to ESCE must present proof of passing their baccalaureate.

  • Number eligible for admission after written exams: 1,500
  • Number of enrollees: 400

For eight years, ESCE has been the leader in number of SESAME national exam candidates.

You can choose the examination site nearest your place of residence: more than 30 examination centres around the world.

* If Language 1 is not English, then Language 2 must be English - Qualifying score for language written exams: higher than 5/20

If you are eligible for admission to ESCE, you will sit the school's oral exams at ESCE Paris based on a schedule and dates that will be proposed to you.

Exam Schedule

  • Registration begins: January 1st 2010
  • Registration ends: March 30th 2010
  • Written examinations: April 21st & 22nd 2010
  • Admission eligibility results: End of May 2010
  • Oral exams at ESCE Paris (1 hr. preparation + 1 hr. of interviews): The week before and the week after the national BAC exams.
  • Admission results: Early July 2010
