ESCE has been accredited by the CGPME (General Confederation of SMEs) as an Apprentice Training Center (“CFA”) for the SME Apprenticeship (PME Apprentissage) scheme.

Apprenticeship through SESAME admissions

This section gives 30 students per year an opportunity to complete their 4th and 5th year of studies as an apprentice within a company with an international business.

Selection takes place in the 3rd year by means of a dossier (motivation, academic level and social criteria).

Employability: an impressive 90% of ESCE apprentices received a job proposal even before finishing their curriculum.

Apprenticeship through REUSSITE admissions

This section gives 25 students per year an opportunity to complete their 3rd, 4th and 5th year of studies as an apprentice inside a company with an international business.

Selection takes place by means of the REUSSITE examination.

Currently on an apprenticeship contract for 2 years as Marketing Studies Support, with Orange, one of the major mobile operators and leading provider of broadband Internet services in Europe.

What made you choose an apprenticeship contract? As soon as ESCE told us about the option of finishing our school curriculum with an apprenticeship contract, I seized the opportunity, because I really wanted to make a long-term commitment to Orange.

What were your main motivators? Firstly, I was interested in gaining as much professional experience as possible for two years. Not having to pay any scholarship fees and receiving a salary each month for two years were added benefits.

How is your apprenticeship going? My apprenticeship is very constructive and enriching, even if it means I have to be very organized and deal with responsibilities. The most important thing is to choose the right company. You can do this on your own or you can call on the personalized services available from the Corporate Relations Department at ESCE. You can also consult offers posted by ESCE partner companies. I would have to say that alternating the classroom and the office was a bit difficult at the start, but it enabled me to very quickly develop a sense of anticipation and prioritize. And now, I am able to juggle demands from the school with my employer’s expectations.

In a nutshell, what would you say that this apprenticeship has given you? Well, I am fortunate enough to do a job that I really like, where I feel particularly good, and this has given me a very clear idea of what i want to do when i leave the school. Also, the apprenticeship has enabled me to understand the mechanisms of the workplace and establish professional contacts. Lastly, having done the apprenticeship will look good on my CV and help me negotiate a higher salary when I start working full time.
